iW is gaming clan closely associated with Squad. Play other games such as, Rust, Arma Reforger, Tarkov, War Thunder etc.
When it comes to a community, Iron Warrior All Stars [iW] has flourished. Whether it's playing Squad games together, doing a weekend Rust wipe, playing War Thunder together on your day off, mucking around on Arma, bashing out the new Tarkov update or simply chatting until god knows what hours, we're here.
Squad will always be a core part of our community, whether playing on our own server, or someone else's, we'll play and we'll have a load of fun whilst doing it.
Iron Warrior All Stars [iW] began as a small, yet mature friend group, mixed between serving and civilian Brits who had played online games since their early teens. As a result of some of their real world experiences, they experimented with adding military theory to gameplay, deliberately not straying into anything resembling mil-sim. While this sounds odd, the group chose to use the game mechanics as a foundation; then attempting to layer very select military doctrine to compliment those game features. Importantly it could not be done the other way around, finding the style that worked and was successful, instead of layering individual preferred real world tactics that wouldn't be workable. This resulted in a lot of trial and error, but by continued diligence and somewhat stubborn mindsets, the group managed to develop a unique and enjoyable playstyle that was successful. Naturally the group enjoyed several games; principally Rust & Squad. While different games, they allowed for a similar approach in defensive base / objective design. The group played these games simultaneously and began to trade principles from one to the other quite effectively. As the group continued to play, more and more people approached the group in wanting to play together in the future and the group's size swelled to nearly 60 active members on a weekend.
