Centuria tells the story of a slave, Julian, who violently escapes captivity after living a life with nothing of value . He stows away on a slave ship , but is eventually discovered….condemned to death. However, it is the kindness and dignity of his fellow slaves aboard the ship that saves his life, and the bravery of one pregnant women in particular who leaves her new-born in Julian's care that gets him to re-evaluate his perspective on life. To survive & protect this new life in his care, the boy agrees to a tragic deal with a powerful sea creature now bearing the strength and the lives of 100 sacrificed slave souls within him.
